Hydrogen - Measure to Manage Workshop

  • Dome Seminar Room, New Register House West Register Street Edinburgh, EH1 3YT Scotland (map)

This Hydrogen - Measure to Manage Workshop is being delivered in partnership with SHFCA member TÜV SÜD National Engineering Laboratory. It will help inform stakeholders from industry, public sector, trade bodies, and academia about current and future measurement requirements for hydrogen. The speakers will explain the need for standardisation in one or more aspects of our growing industry, and the afternoon includes roundtable workshops to identify the key challenges and potential solution mechanisms.

–         Do you already work in the hydrogen sector, or are you considering getting involved with hydrogen activities?

–         Do you have thoughts on the need for standardisation in one or more aspects of this growing industry?

–         Would you like to build new contacts or influence the developments in this field?

TÜV SÜD National Engineering Laboratory is a leading partner in the UK’s National Measurement System.  Together with SHFCA this event will bring together existing and prospective stakeholders in the hydrogen sector. It will help us identify the current barriers and gaps, both in regulation and standardisation, that need to be addressed to accelerate adoption of hydrogen technologies, and create a fair and equitable market.

This workshop will include presentations in the morning session, followed by networking lunch. The afternoon session will include a series of three short workshop sessions to discuss and define current barriers and challenges, identify the most relevant barriers and challenges, and propose the best approaches and mechanisms to tackle these barriers and challenges

This free to attend event will be an opportunity to learn and make progress on a number of fronts. Registration is now open and places are limited.
