Farid Hillend Engineering is part of the Farid European Group, one of Europe’s fastest growing Refuse and Recycling Vehicle producers.
Farid Hillend Engineering develops waste and recycling products with specific missions in mind. Investment in these waste collection and recycling vehicle product missions, improvements in design and manufacturing functions continues at pace. All of which enables us to provide exactly what our waste industry customers want and at the same time improve our market penetration of waste and recycling collection vehicles in the UK, Ireland and across Europe.
Farid Hillend Engineering was previously known as Heil Farid European Company Limited, which was formed on 1st May 2013 as a result of the purchase of Heil Europe by Farid European Group, one of Europe’s fastest growing RCV producers. The acquisition was brought about to strengthen Farid’s position in the UK and across Europe, increase the product range and strengthen the service offered to customers. This has proved immensely successful and on the 1st January 2017 the license negotiated and agreed with the purchase of Heil Europe to use the Heil branding expired. We are however delighted to confirm that the products (PowerLink, TwinTrak, Big Bite – rear loaders and Euro Half Pack – front loaders) produced under the Heil brand name will continue to be produced on the same site under the new Farid Hillend Engineering Limited brand.
