FCH KnowHy Courses for Technicians

The FCH JU funded project KnowHy, has developed a training course in the FCH field for technicians with at least 2 years of hands-on experience or a technical diploma/certificate. The course is accessible from home or the workplace in different countries in several languages through an interactive e-learning platform providing teaching materials, tutoring and games. After the on-line lesson, a practical training at demo facilities to experience the acquired knowledge will complement the course. The training lasts 100 hours and is divided between 40 hours of a core module providing an overview on fuel cells and hydrogen fundamentals and 60 hours of a specialisation module to be chosen between the following market roll-out applications selected according to a market research and a survey among industrial stakeholders: Automotive and Material Handling Sector; Hydrogen Production and Handling; Micro Fuel Cells; CHP and microCHP; Fuel Cell based Generators (APU and Backup Power)

The first of the courses starts in September 2016. The course cost normally varies based on the country and fee waivers available at the time of the course.  For this first call, in some countries, courses are available with full fee waivers.
