EPSRC - CARBON CAPTURE AND STORAGE - CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The Research Councils' Energy Programme is seeking to fund two consortia in carbon capture and storage. The first is intended to study the ecosystems impacts of geological carbon capture and storage and the second to carry out a whole systems analysis of carbon capture, transport and storage. £1.4m has been earmarked for each consortia which should comprise a number of academic institutions, together with active stakeholder involvement.
The closing date for applications is 4pm Tuesday 29 September 2009.
