Qteknology is an SME company with a highly experienced group of engineers carrying out development work producing bespoke solutions to the control of multiple functions based on the collection of data from remote sensors connected to a control unit from any number of areas.

Software is code protected and is designed to allow multi level user access by use of PIN numbers, thus limiting the possibility of damage by unauthorised users changing critical set parameters in a control system.

The areas of work that Qteknology has been involved with range from a secure keyless access system for the new high energy particle accelerator being built by Diamond Light in England, an oil pipeline pig detection and monitoring system for a UK pipeline engineering company, various systems for the precise control of the firing cycle of heat producing appliances, in particular the ThermStopper boiler management system.

Qteknology is presently looking to extend the capability of the ThermStopper to become in effect, a mini building management system, able to control energy input from various number of appliances whilst satisfying the load requirements of single or multiple areas.

This control can be biased to the use of renewable energy sources, always using the lowest cost first thus conserving the finite hydrocarbon based fuel stocks. Qteknology is currently designing an energy meter to measure energy use of inhabited spaces which are supplied from a central heat source with sufficient accuracy to allow the billing of tenants in multiple occupancy properties for their actual energy usage.

Qteknology is committed to not only producing energy saving products but to providing detailed energy savings reports, thus allowing energy managers to fully evaluate their energy usage.

We welcome joint ventures/partnerships with facilities management companies and manufacturers of energy products. We have particular expertise in the design of embedded control and monitoring systems.
