NHA Conference and Hydrogen Expo

Renewable Energy is so called because the source is inexhaustible, and can therefore not run out, as opposed to fossil fuels (and nuclear fuels), which are finite.

Renewable Energy technologies are devices that harvest the energy that they come in contact with. These normally convert the renewable source into electrons (such as Solar Photovoltaics - PV) however can also be used to store heat (such as Solar Water Heating).

Renewable Energy technologies can be used to capture a broad range of renewable resources that include:

Sun > Solar Photovoltaic, Solar water heating, Solar Hydrogen Production
Wind > Wind Turbine
Tides > Water Turbine
Waves > Chamber, Pressure Differential, Buoyancy
Geothermal > Steam Turbine
Biomass > Digester, Combustion
Biogas > Gas Turbine, Fuel Cell
