This focus page aggregates information relevant to primary power systems (including Fuel Cell Primary Power Systems), which are being developed by a number of Organisations worldwide.
As the name suggests, primary power fuel cell systems provide power on a continuous basis, rather than Backup Power systems that provide power on demand. Primary power systems may also be designed to supply heat Combined Heat and Power, or Combined Cooling and Power.
Systems are currently available that produce from 75 W to over 200 kW of power.
These primary power systems run on a variety of fuels from Natural Gas, to Methanol, Propane, and even Hydrogen in certain applications.
There are Opportunities To Work with These Companies in the areas of Installation, Servicing, Maintenance Distribution, Development, Manufacturing, and Demonstration.
