Energy Technology Centre
The Energy Technology Centre (ETC) provides a resource for the development and testing of a range of small scale renewable energy systems. A suite of test cells with associated operator control rooms allows the safe operation of devices featuring rotating machinery, electricity generation, combustion systems and hazardous fluids. Based at the SE Technology Park at East Kilbride, with connectivity across the UK, providing support for a wide range of technologies at various stages of maturity. The Energy Technology Centre allows access for SMEs, start-ups, corporates and academic organisations and aims to keep Scotland and the UK at the forefront of new energy technology development.
